We are pleased to announce that, after a long court proceeding, the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court, on March 21, 2023, ordered a German company to refrain from using, and particularly, from manufacturing, offering, importing, and exporting, in the European Union, a carton runner that corresponds to the original ELTETE runner called PallRun® but which is not produced under the ELTETE license. ELTETE continues to protect and cherish the intellectual property rights of its unique solutions and, in this case, our EU Community design.
The carton runner in question is used in the air cargo industry as a substitute for wooden pallets. It is an ideal solution for the air cargo industry due to its exceptional strength and lightness. The original ELTETE runner is called PallRun® and Air Cargo Runner. Eltete Air Cargo Runner and PallRun®-pallet runner are the same product and are used for air cargo.
Its design is protected since 2003. The EU Community design has been developed and registered by ELTETE TPM Ltd on October 23, 2003 and can only be manufactured and sold under license and with approval of the owner of the design, ELTETE TPM Ltd.
We can manufacture the Air Cargo Runner worldwide, so it is in the hands of any air cargo company that needs a more sustainable transport packaging solution that substitutes wood, reduces CO2 emissions and is 100% recyclable.
